Being a writer is a challenge and I appreciate great writing. It’s a trip away in my mind and you do a great job of it. Keep it coming. I’ve told you in the past how I struggle to think up things to write about in my artist posts. I can only write about my joys and experiences! Hope other folks like the flavor as you say.
The best part is the people you meet because they seat you with others at the tables for 4. We laughed and we made new friends for life. In addition to myself we met two reiki practicitioners and will keep in contact.
Just got back from my 9 day train ride to Seattle and San Francisco - had a blast with my sister - you were definitely the inspiration so I wanted to let you know it went really well except she left her hat box (yes she had to have a different hat for each day) on the Calif Zephr and I have filled out paperwork to track it down, lol. That's what big sisters do right? Mahalo nui hou - Dahmia Li'uli'ualoha
Do you recommend Substack for a novice like me? Or another blogger platform? So many of our friends have requested a blog of our trip. Thanks for your recommendation for someone new to a new way of sharing our adventures!!🥰🛳️🥰
Mahalo for sharing more of your writing process. And for saying out loud just how hard it is to write memoir, and to write about beautiful experiences!
And you make it all look so easy, it is easy to read. Thank you for letting us participate in your travels, and to your paid subscribers I say, Thank you. I am one who rides along and isn't paying for the gas. I cannot afford to subscribe to all the things I love to read, so thank you to those who can.
I like reading your posts and pay for your books but honestly just read this as an extra and I'm not sure about the pay part - still not sold on that. I also often journal our travels and I know I would have forgotten many special moments if I hadn't - I only hope I take the time to reread what I wrote and that maybe someone else might read it someday
I so appreciate your time and talent. Please don’t stop writing. I look forward to new books and your passages. I want you to take time for yourself and family, but then the real me comes out. The selfish one that doesn’t want you to stop writing so I can continue to read every day.
Toby - I am so inspired by your Passages newsletters and series! Makes me want to "do something" and share about our big travel adventure around the world on the residential cruise ship!

Nancy, it's all good! I understand, and that's why I priced things how I did. Xo
